Hello! Welcome to the official website of Pure Senses Pte Ltd.

We are a distributor and retailer of fine home fragrances based in Singapore. Founded in 2009, Pure Senses is the sole agent for Yankee Candle and Price's Candles in Singapore and Malaysia.

My business partner, Wan Pin, and I started Pure Senses at a time when I wanted to expand my business beyond home decoratives and she resigned from YSL Beaute to spend more time with her family. (How starting a business translates to spending more time with family, I think we are both still trying to figure that out :-)

Home fragrances seemed to make perfect sense for both of us at that time. We scouted around for the best home fragrance brands and contacted nearly 20 brands. Many brands replied favourably and amongst them was a brand that we REALLY wanted. And that's Yankee Candle - the No.1 home fragrance brand in the U.S. with an annual turnover of USD700 million. In March 2009, we became the sole agent for Yankee Candle in Singapore and Malaysia.

At a time when many were skeptical of how well Yankee Candle will fare since "most Singaporeans don't burn candles", the wonderful buyers of Takashimaya and Tangs took the leap of faith and gave us a chance. In April 2009, Yankee Candle was launched in Takashimaya, Tangs Orchard and Tangs Vivocity.

A year later, we were appointed sole agent in Singapore for the venerable Price's Candles U.K., one of the first candle manufacturers in the world that has been producing candles since 1830. They hold 114 patents for their inventions and we didn't even know there can be so many patented technologies behind the making of a humble candle.

With Yankee Candle and Price's Candles under our belt, we strive to be the candle supplier of choice, offering a comprehensive selection of top quality candles in as many forms and fragrances.

Today, our range of products have expanded to include reed diffusers, car air fresheners, essential oils, room sprays and potpourri in addition to unscented and scented candles. They are sold in such fine department stores as Robinsons, Takashimaya and Tangs as well as specialty stores such as Scandic Wonders in Tanglin Mall and Thyme Shop in The American Club.
