Price’s has a truly unique heritage and is known as the connoisseur of candles, inventing the Sherwood™ candle, which is still used in State Banquets, in 1830.
Experts of innovation, Price’s is looking ahead and is set to fuse the heritage of its past with contemporary style, when they launch the much awaited Sherwood Shade.
The Sherwood Shade has been designed to complement the traditional Sherwood™ candle, and is both elegant and classic in design. Hand-made in the finest silk, each shade comes complete with a fitment that sits atop of the Sherwood™ candle, and is available in red, black or ivory. By changing the colour of the shade and candle combinations, you can change the atmosphere or mood of your dining and living experience from romantic chic to dark and dramatic.
The Sherwood Shade can only be used with the Sherwood™ candle, as the wax formulation of the candle has been developed in a way that when the shades are placed onto the candles they do not drip or bend. The Sherwood™ candle collection which was originally launched for the marriage of Princess Victoria to Prince Albert in 1840, is available in both 10” and 12” in Ivory, Black, Wine Red, Midnight Blue and Evergreen.
